69 years young; have invented a kit, called the PLANT-A-GENDA to help people grow their own vegetables; A Seed Bible comes with it, and each vegetable has a list of Companion Plantings. People are encouraged to collect their own seeds, after the initial organic seed outlay, thus their future vegetables are virtually free. The Seed Bible allows people to easily find the first month of planting, so that they can file their collected seeds behind that divider.
Each monthly divider tells us what to plant in that month, in one of 3 different climates - Cold, Temperate or Sub-Tropical. I have customers all over Australia.
I live 50km from Armidale on the New England Tablelands, and of course, grow my own vegetables, and bake my own bread. We have 2 dogs, a cat and 6 horses.
I'm very involved with Landcare. I wish I could get meat from local farmers, but that is illegal. I also advise gardeners in the local community on growing vegetables and collecting seeds.
I'm here because I believe just about everybody can grow their own vegetables, even if it is in polystyrene boxes.
