#96 Granny's soup - help meet the neighbours

I started a weekly dinner night with my neighbours where I cook a simple meal and have them over for dinner. With winter I cook a vegetable soup using all my spare greens. As a single person, I'm now better connected and enjoy the benefits of knowing my neighbours. I'm eating at least twice a week with a diverse range of ages and backgrounds!

Sounds like fun!

As a generally disorganised person, I periodically do a massive cookup and put everything into freezer containers. Then I have extra to drop in to a neighbour who's feeling sick, or if they say they have nothing ready for dinner. It's quicker to reheat one of them than it is to go out and get take-away, heaps cheaper and healthier too.
