#298 Living Green (A project by ACDN)

Auburn Community Development Network (ACDN) is proud to announce its innovative new project Living Green. Living Green is a multilingual community arts and education project focusing on environmental awareness and climate change. Through digital storytelling and community education Living Green will record and share participants personal stories and messages about protecting our environment, dealing with climate change, saving energy and water, managing our recycling and reusing unwanted objects.

Living Green is up and running with digital storytelling workshops, market stalls, recycled toy making and community engagement events already underway, as you can see from the pics. We are currently seeking interested individuals and organisations to share their stories and ideas on what it means to green in Western Sydney, mainly from across Auburn, Parramatta, Bankstown, Fairfield, Blacktown and Liverpool.

For more info please contact Claire Pettigrew on 9649 5559 or environment@acdn.org.au
