Presented by City of Sydney in association with Reef Knot http://iheartkx.wordpress.com/ , a community art project based on knitting is operating in Kings Cross Sydney. I went along today and spent four hours socialising and meeting locals learning to knit for a street improvement art project. Kids men and women all enjoyed the project and most are likely to meet up again in a week. The knitting will cover street furniture adding colour to grey lamp standards and telegraph poles. Knitting rocks! Michelle is an amazing high energy person who inspires and helps new knitters!
