#110 Help native bees

Add plants to my garden that support native bees

local plants

my new plants

here's the new plants I picked up today

Comments (5)

Off to the nursery this afternoon to get some plants for the garden that the bees will like.

Well done Kate. It was a pleasure to meet and assist you in your new "green" endeavour. You would be happy to know that your flowering marigolds and herb selection are locally grown. So what next ?...Start a compost heap and reduce the amount of green waste entering landfill. Homegrown herbs and veges taste great !

 Well done indeed, Kate!

The new plants have survived the recent rain & continue to thrive.  Garden now includes: celery, carrots, onion, parsley, rosemary, lavendar, mint, curry plant, and marigolds.

Next step is to start composting - will be popping down to find out more about this from Vivien after my exams in a few weeks.
