#100 Help native bees

I only have a balcony so planting large growers is not an option. Herbs are definitely in though and I currently have a healthy rosemary plant and a lot of mint. I'm glad to hear that it helps the native bees as a consequence :)

How have you managed to keep your rosemary going? I've found rosemary incredibly difficult to grow in pots.

What are some of the other things we can do to help native bees?  Michael Mobbs showed some pictures of his hive the other day - apparently they don't sting.

Rosemary likes it  dry - add some crushed rock to potting mix to make sure that the water is draining properly and the rosemary doesn't get 'wet feet', turn black and die.
